I've ridden saddlebreds since I was 10 or 11. ^_^ But now there are no stables here in Rockford IL that I can ride at anymore. I do go to PlumCreek when I can get the chance and take lessons here and there for stress relief though. They're out in Rochelle IL, thats about an hour give or take from where I live.
My mom and her side of the family have been in the saddlebred scene for the past 24 or so years. On and off. My mom and her husband are currently showing. They enjoy it as a business but I like more for fun and relaxation.

I ride for fun, relaxation, and I love the competition. It's such a high. I stated in the sixth grade before I even knew the difference between horses and disciplines. Now I ride saddlebreds and morgans and compete. Last year I qualified for the Oklahoma nationals but we couldn't afford to go. I'm really lucky because the barn I ride at is so close I cloud walk if I needed to. Also, thanks for joining! You are added to the members list.
